Pride month is dedicated to the uplifting of LGBTQ voices and the celebration of their rights. It is part of activism, and it serves as a celebration of all the things that the LGBTQ community has so far achieved over the years. It is important to recognize this month because of the cross cutting cultural and political value it holds. At CHeRA, we want to celebrate this month by recognizing the work and efforts of the LGBTQ community in their fight towards ending HIV/AIDS.
